Dundalk 0-2 Bray Wanderers

DUNDALK 0  BRAY WANDERERS 2

Bray Wanderers took their League unbeaten run to four matches with a well-deserved victory at Oriel Park.

The visitors went ahead just five minutes before the break, courtesy of penalty, when former Bray man Derek Foran upended Kieran "Marty" Waters in the area

Marksman Jason Byrne sent Dundalk keeper Peter Cherrie the wrong way with a well-taken spot kick.

The Bray man repeated the kick midway through the second period when another former Bray player, Chris Shields, also took Waters down in a scoring position.

The hosts have had something of a goal drought this season, and Byrne has now scored more goals this season than Dundalk.
