Wanderers sign USA forward Brendan King

Bray Wanderers today announced the signing of Brendan King from the USA. King has been a free agent since the start of the MLS season. King can play as a winger or striker.

King has previously played for the University of Norte Dame where his talents were recognized and he was selected for the MLS super draft for the 2012 season. He was picked by the Portland Timbers where he completed a pre-season campaign with them but decided against signing for the MLS side.

King has been capped for the USA at u17 & u20 level.

King was also on trial with current Airtricity League leaders Sligo Rovers earlier in the season. King has been added to the squad for the trip to Sligo which will be broadcast live on RTE 2.

Welcome to Bray Wanderers , Brendan King.
