Wanderers take a point in Cork
Match report thanks to www.braywanderers.ie
Bray will count themselves fortunate to have taken a point from the Rebels in Turners Cross, where their record has been poor over the years.
Tadhg Purcell's goal came in the form of a fourth-minute counter-attack as Bray players called for a decision from referee Tom Connolly when Kieran "Marty" Waters was up-ended in the Cork area.
Daryl Horgan fed the resulting clearance on to the waiting Purcell, whose well-judged lob passed Darren Quigley into the Bray net.
And after 70 more minutes of lively attacking football on both sides, Bray equalised with a powerful daisycutter by Jason Byrne, his 182nd career strike.
The remaining quarter hour saw the visitors responding well to a sporadic and ultimately ineffective Cork onslaught, with Waters helped off in the dying minutes after a clash with Ian Turner.
